Then we roll into some talk about Deathbed no. 1, a new Vertigo series by Joshua Williamson and Riley Rossmo (11:59). We finish up with the movie Annihilation (18:38).

This week we start with some talk about the first five episodes of The Defenders on Netflix (6:40), then slide into Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (14:18) and Atomic Blonde (20:35), and cap it off with what might be our favorite book of the year, Mister Miracle, by Tom King and Mitch Gerads (26:02).
